Student Access to Information (FERPA)
Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) recognizes students' rights to access personal and academic records in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) as amended by Public Law 93-568.
The College has designated the following information as directory information and will disclose this information without prior written consent unless otherwise instructed by the student:
- Name, address and program of study (including college of enrollment, major and campus)
- Enrollment status (e.g., full-time, part-time, withdrawn)
- Dates of attendance
- Degrees, honors and awards received
- Previous educational agencies or institutions attended
- Participation in officially recognized activities and sports
- Weight and height of members of intercollegiate athletic teams
Contact the Enrollment Office at your campus if you wish to have this information kept confidential.
Online Learning Restrictions
Cuyahoga Community College will review all applications from outside of Ohio (military/nonmilitary) to determine if programs are authorized in your state. If you have questions, please contact the Office of eLearning & Innovation @ 216.987.4257 or elearning@tri-c.edu before registering.
