Subpoenas
Subpoenas are court orders directing that records be produced or that certain persons must present themselves in court to give testimony, or both.
As a large public entity employing many people and serving many students, it is fairly common for the College to receive subpoenas.
Should an employee of the College be served with a subpoena related to College business, please contact Legal Services immediately at 216-987-3974.
Public Records Requests
To schedule a review or to make a Public Records Request for records maintained by the College:
- Send a written request to Legal Services at 700 Carnegie Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44115; or
- Email your request to legal@tri-c.edu; or
- Complete a Public Records Request Form or create your own document and mail or email it to Legal Services at legal@tri-c.edu; or
- Call Legal Services at 216-987-3974.
Legal Services' procedure is to acknowledge all public records requests within 24 hours of receipt, excluding weekends/holidays/school closings.
