Create Art That Interacts With the World Around You
In this course, students will explore how photography can transform public spaces and engage communities. Students will investigate the relationship between photography, installation and public art, focusing on how visual works can spark dialogue and influence shared environments. This class emphasizes the power of photography to inspire change and encourages students to explore the intersection of art, place and community. This class will include basic digital photography skills.

Photography in Nature: Finding Beauty in the Wild
Mar. 22 - May 17, 2025 | Saturdays | FREE
This course encourages students to step outdoors and explore how digital photography can document and celebrate the natural environment. Students will learn techniques for photographing landscapes, wildlife and natural textures while gaining practical experience with lighting, composition and environmental storytelling. The class will include guided field excursions that offer hands-on opportunities to capture dynamic scenes in nature.
