Paralegal Studies Student Takes First Place in the LEX Scholarship Competition
For the second year in a row, a Tri-C Student took first place in the LEX scholarship competition. This is a wonderful achievement, as students from over 150 institutions are eligible to participate in this competitive scholarship competition. The winner, Valerie West, will get $1,500 and her essay will be published in The Legal Educator - a national journal.
The LEX Scholarship Competition is an annual student writing competition for paralegal and legal studies students enrolled in American Association for Paralegal Education (AAfPE) member institutions with LEX chapters.
