Program Admission
Program Admission Process
Students seeking admission to the Respiratory Care program must first select the "Get Started Here" button on the program's main web page. The students will be added to a preadmission track, where the program director will monitor their performance as they progress through the courses required for program admission. The student will receive an email acknowledgment each time a requirement is met. Once all requirements are fully satisfied, the program director will offer the student admission to the program. No additional application is required. The Respiratory Care program is cohort-based and begins each fall semester. The capacity per cohort is 25 students. Once the upcoming cohort is full, any newly admitted students will be placed on a waiting list and/or the next year's cohort. The program director will help guide the student's academic coursework if a wait is necessary.
