More than 1,000 credit courses are offered each semester in more than 200 career and technical programs. Tri-C also grants short-term certificates, certificates of proficiency and post-degree professional certificates.
Tri-C's Workforce Training provides both non-credit and credit training for individuals and businesses to assist individuals with skills leading to employment. Tri-C's Corporate College provides professional development and corporate training opportunities.
Tri-C offers a variety of affordable and convenient community programs for both adults and youth. These programs are designed to promote individual development.
For almost 50 years, Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) has been a premier provider of education to individuals 55 and older, offering opportunities to expand their horizons, engage with ideas, and exercise their minds. The instructors are experts who want to share their passions. No homework and tests required — just education, fun, courses, tours and socializing!
Encore 55+ Learning has three ways to learn:
Encore Campus Fridays: Experience Encore at the Eastern Campus and Western Campus for seven weeks from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Encore On-the-Go: Learn from your home via Webex at various times for seven weeks.
Neighborhood Scholars: This program brings Greater Cleveland to you through community partners.

What are you doing on Friday? Encore Campus Friday seven-week classes are held at the Eastern and Western campuses from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. The sessions start in September, January and March. You can take up to six 50-minute classes each session on topics such as art, exercise, entertainment, history, literature, religion and more!
Welcome Encore into your home with Encore On-the-Go online classes. Hosted on Webex, an online platform, these classes meet you where you are. Webex test sessions will help you get comfortable with the platform before classes start. These 50-minute classes run for seven weeks, and students can take multiple classes each session.
Neighborhood Scholars takes Encore 55+ Learning into the community with off-campus courses and tours presented in cooperation with community partners. These are one-time or short-series opportunities held throughout Greater Cleveland. Past stops have included the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Cleveland Cultural Gardens, Lake View Cemetery, places of worship, the Rockefeller Park Greenhouse and the Cleveland Public Library.

Interested in taking credit classes for free?
Tri-C offers Program 60 to Ohio residents aged 60 and older, which allows them to register for regularly scheduled credit (and a limited number of noncredit) classes on an audit, tuition- and fee-free, space-available basis.
Note: Program 60 does not cover the cost of textbooks or other course materials or the cost of Encore 55+ Learning.
