Become an Encore Instructor
Thank you for your interest in becoming an Encore 55+ Learning instructor.
Encore Campus Fridays are all about sharing what you know and what you love. You don’t need a teaching license, an advanced degree or a certification to become an Encore instructor — but you do need expertise in your subject and a passion for sharing it with others.
If you meet those two requirements, Encore might be the right teaching opportunity for you.
About Our Program
Encore Campus Fridays is offered every Friday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Eastern and Western campuses for seven weeks. Each class is 50 minutes and can cover any topic you have a desire to teach.
When you are looking to offer a class, make sure it is educational and something that students who are 55 years and older would enjoy learning about. Contact us when you are ready to take that journey. We and our students love when new instructors join with new topics!
Submitting Your Information
Email us at encore@tri-c.edu or call us at 216-987-2274 to provide us with your information.
What Do You Need From Me to Teach?
All we ask is that you have a passion to teach your topic. We will send you a proposal about four to five months before the program starts, asking for your basic contact information, course title, course description and the times you are available on the specific Friday. We will continue to communicate with you as we get closer to the session.
