Classroom Presentations

The Career Center staff facilitates in-classroom presentations to make faculty and students aware of all services and offerings available. We understand that your time in the classroom is valuable, so we offer a variety of presentations to fit your class schedule.

Non-FYE or FYE Classes: a 15-minute overview to present available tools, experiential learning importance, and our college-wide workshop schedule.

FYE Classes Only: a 30-minute Career Center overview with MyPlan step-by-step registration instructions.

Specialized classroom presentation requests can be sent to your campus' Career Services Specialist. To schedule an in-classroom presentation, please contact your campus Career Center coordinator.

Industry Connection Speakers

Through the Industry Connections Speaker's Bureau, you may request a speaker for your classrooms who can share insights regarding a specific industry/field and who would love to relay their career journey.

Recruitment of speakers began in late November 2018 and will continue on an ongoing basis.  To date, speakers include Tri-C Alumni, Tri-C Advisory Committee members and Career Center employer contacts.  Speakers range from all levels of an organization and from many types of companies (private/public, hospitality, baking, education, retail, city government, business entrepreneurs, etc.).
