Tri-C offers short-term, stackable certificates that provide hands-on training in:

• Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), also referred to as STICK welding
• Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), also referred to as Metal Inert Gas (MIG)
• Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), also referred to as Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG)
• Flux-cored Arc Welding (FCAW)
• Robotic Welding
• Oxy-Fuel/Plasma Processes

Additional related courses are available in Welding Print Reading, Standard First Aid and Personal Safety, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).

 Program Highlights:

• Students can test for multiple national welding certifications in accordance with American Welding Society (AWS) standards (2F-4G)
• Train in a Welding lab with high-tech equipment from Lincoln Electric
• Financial aid and scholarships available for those who qualify
• Internship and job placement assistance available

• High School diploma or GED
• MATH-0910 Basic Arithmetic and Pre-Algebra (or qualified math placement).
