3D Digital Design and Manufacturing Technology — Certificate of Proficiency
This program is for those who wish to acquire skills in 3D printing, additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping in order to gain entry-level employment in various manufacturing operations. Two short-term certificates — Digital Design and Product Innovation and Digital Manufacturing and Product Launch — will lead to a certificate of proficiency in additive manufacturing.
CNC Machining and Composite Manufacturing — Short-Term Certificate
This program is for students looking to pursue a career in composite manufacturing and precision machining. Divided equally between lectures and hands-on training with both manual and CNC machine tools, the program gives students the experience needed to enter the industry at the pre-apprenticeship level.
Introductory Welding — Short-Term Certificate
This program provides basic training for those who wish to acquire fundamental skills in Stick, MIG, TIG and Oxy-fuel welding technologies. In addition to preparing for careers in the welding industry, the program gives students the opportunity to earn three nationally recognized certifications from the American Welding Society.
Mechatronics — Certificate of Proficiency
This program familiarizes students with mechatronics — a design process that combines mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, control engineering and computer engineering. Courses on topics such as programming, electronics, fluid power and more give students a broad understanding of the multidisciplinary field.
