Mission and Goals of the Student Conduct Process

Cuyahoga Community College is committed to equity and civility in a multicultural environment. To maintain high standards, the College must uphold an atmosphere conducive to personal development and educational growth, as well as one that fosters collaboration through a lens of diversity.

The Student Conduct Code protects the mission of the College and the commitments to our core values. The Student Conduct Code addresses the promotion of safe and secure learning environments and the protection of people, properties and processes that support the College and its mission.

The Student Conduct Code also identifies prohibited conduct and clarifies when the code applies to student behavior. The student conduct process establishes the procedures for alleged violations of the Student Conduct Code. Meetings and hearings encompassed in the student conduct process are administrative and do not follow the protocol for criminal or civil proceedings.
