Mission Statement

The Student Centers for Multicultural Engagement support student success in an educational environment that celebrates and actively promotes inclusivity, civility and belonging for all Tri-C students.

Vision

To create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere and culture that fosters a sense of belonging and safety, eliminates barriers, and creates programs that prepare individuals to understand the relationship between self, others and the community as an important component of sustained student success.

Goals

1. Inclusion Appreciation - Promote student success by encouraging self-acceptance, self-advocacy, and intercultural competence.
2. Social Impact - Developing skills and knowledge for creating positive social change and measurable impact through their actions to help build strong connections within their communities.
