Background Check Information

Effective Jan. 12, 2013, the BCI process may begin no sooner than six months prior to entry into a health care or nursing program and no later than the first day of program entry. (Program entry is defined as the first day of class in which the student begins their program.) 

The process for students entering the Nursing program in Spring 2020 must begin immediately. Failure to meet all required objectives successfully can delay entry into the Nursing program. 

The process for submitting health requirements and beginning a background check is changing and currently on hold for all students seeking admission into the nursing program. This means that as of 6/11/2021 all students interested in beginning the nursing program should NOT start a CastleBranch account. Information regarding the new process will be posted soon.
