How to Apply
To be considered for admission into the Robert L. Lewis Academy of Scholars, you must submit the College's general scholarship application along with a recommendation from a faculty or community member. Students are accepted into the program each summer to begin the two-semester experience in the fall.
Applicants must be self-motivated and inspired to explore social justice topics. A 3.50 or higher GPA is required. If you are ineligible for financial assistance through the FAFSA or other financial assistance programs or scholarships, you may be eligible for scholarship funds for the two required courses through the academy.
1. Complete and submit the application form below.
2. Request a recommendation from a professor, teacher or employer who can speak to your ability to benefit from participation in the academy. Ask them to complete and submit the recommendation form.
