Tri-C is the first community college in Northeast Ohio to offer an associate’s degree in Massage Therapy. The degree program can be completed in 16 months (4 semesters). Students first graduate with a Certificate of Proficiency in Massage Therapy (which can be completed in 3 semesters) and are eligible to apply for Ohio medical board massage licensure after passing the MBLEx exam. All of the Certificate of Proficiency credits are transferred to the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree.

Returning students please note: You must complete a new application. If it has been more than one year since you withdrew from the program you will be required to take all massage therapy classes, including those you took previously.

Students graduating with the AAS degree in Massage Therapy will also receive the Short-Term Advanced Massage Therapy Certificate.
