If you are not already an active Tri-C student, you must first apply to the college. If you are interested in more than one health careers program, you must submit a separate health careers application for each program. You may only apply to three programs at one time.
This certificate is designed for individuals and allied health care professionals who are interested in learning more about basic nutrition, but are not interested in pursuing a Dietetic Technology degree. The focus is on wellness and disease prevention through proper nutrition and eating behaviors. Students earning this certificate are not qualified to practice medical nutrition therapy, as stated by the State of Ohio. Completing these classes, students may apply credits toward the Dietetic Technology degree program.
