What is theatre?
Theatre is a verb involving the exchange of thoughts and ideas between two groups of people: actors and audience. Each group must share in the performance. Theatre is not a building, although it can be.
Why take courses in theatre?
Theatre classes teach individuals how to perform or how to appreciate performance.
Careers available?
There are many careers in theatre including onstage, backstage, and writing and producing plays. You don’t need to pursue a career in theatre to take classes. Some students take classes for the pursuit of beauty and the performing arts.
