Blackboard Ultra
"Blackboard Learn™ with the Ultra experience (Learn Ultra) delivers a simpler, more powerful teaching and learning experience. With a modern, intuitive, fully responsive interface, Learn Ultra better engages students, eases the burden on educators, and clears the path to success."
The Online Learning and Academic Technology (OLAT) first reached out to Blackboard Inc. in March of 2021 to discuss the LMS Review timeline. Blackboard provided training in late October, it was decided that everyone, as a group, should go through the process again during the Spring 2022 term due to some initial faculty concerns. Additionally, Blackboard has helped with development of the RFP.
OLAT will be providing support for the faculty review of Blackboard Learn Ultra from the Fall 2021 term through Fall 2022 term.

Blackboard Learn Ultra Training Sessions
There are two types of sessions available as part of the training process. First, there are training sessions led by Blackboard reps that cover a specific aspect of the Blackboard Learn Ultra LMS. The second type of sessions are OLAT-led workshops, and will have some agenda items to get things started and work through particular areas, but will also be used as working sessions to collaboratively prepare courses for the Summer 2022 term.
