Introduction to Nursing & Health Careers - HTEC 1807

1 Credit - This course will also introduce students to nursing and other healthcare professions. Students will learn what is necessary to be successful in the healthcare environment, including healthcare roles and career development, personal traits of successful healthcare professionals, cultural considerations in the healthcare industry, effective communication skills, personal responsibility, cultural competence, and professionalism.
Introduction to Pharmacology - HTEC 1610

2 Credits - Acquaint students with general principles and concepts of pharmacology. Provides understanding of indications, uses, doses and contraindications associated with individual drugs as well as mechanisms of drug administration and therapeutic management of patients with specific disease processes. Review of basic mathematics related to correct calculation of drug dosages and preparation of solutions.
IT Review Microsoft Office

This course guides you through the Office 365 applications: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel. Gain experience using the most up-to-date version of Microsoft Office.
