Farinacci Recording Project
Two luminaries of the jazz world have returned to their hometown — and to Cuyahoga Community College to create a star-studded album in Tri-C’s state-of-art recording studios. This project unites acclaimed trumpeter Dominick Farinacci and five-time Grammy winning producer Tommy LiPuma with an impressive team of musicians. The project represents the first time nationally recognized artists, engineers and producers make an entire album at Tri-C’s Gill and Tommy LiPuma Center for Creative Arts.
In addition to the making of the album, Tri-C students in photography, filmmaking, design, recording arts and music are involved in observing and creating projects based on the week’s events. High school and college students will take part by attending master classes and observing the recording sessions.
This project is supported by the Cuyahoga Community College Foundation and generous community donors.
