Altruistic Career Begins With Leap of Faith at Tri-C
Sherri Brandon embarked on her educational journey at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) with a clear vision of impacting others’ lives. After high school, Brandon was uncertain about her future and lacked confidence in her academic abilities. However, her father recognized her potential and helped her enroll, saying Tri-C was where she truly belonged.
During her time at the College, Brandon pursued an Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in psychology, setting her sights on attending a four-year college.
Her graduation from Tri-C in 1992 marked a significant milestone in her life. Filled with pride and a sense of accomplishment, she became the first of her siblings to graduate from college. Brandon went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ursuline College, a Master of Arts in Social Services Administration from Case Western Reserve University and a Master of Nonprofit Organizations from Case Western Reserve University.
Brandon has also studied internationally, focusing on community development and economic sustainability among impoverished communities in Jamaica and Ghana.
As her educational accomplishments grew, so did her commitment to creating positive change. She became the CEO of Front Steps Housing and Services, an organization dedicated to addressing homelessness in the community. Under Brandon’s leadership, Front Steps experienced unprecedented growth and became a beacon of hope for those in need.
Her approach to leadership is marked by a commitment to social change and an understanding of the challenges faced by the communities she serves. She has spearheaded people-centered initiatives and set new standards in the nonprofit sector. Brandon fosters a culture of inclusivity, innovation and continuous learning, attracting a team of dedicated professionals.
In addition to her professional achievements, she is an ordained minister, serving as the co-pastor for N1 Achord Church & Ministries in Euclid. She is also the founder of Victorious Women's International Fellowship, a ministry designed to uplift women facing challenges and rejection.
Brandon’s educational journey at Tri-C laid the foundation for her many achievements. Today, her visionary leadership, combined with her unwavering passion, has created a legacy of impact that will endure for generations to come.
