EMT and Paramedic Training





The College was notified following a site visit from the Ohio Department of Public Safety Division of Emergency Medical Services that national registry exam pass rates for the EMS Program are below minimum standards. As a result, the program has been placed on probation through Jan. 31, 2026. The program continues to be accredited during this period.
EMS Career Paths
EMS provide acute out-of-hospital care services and transport patients with illnesses and injuries or in other health or emergency situations.
Jobs include Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Paramedic and Firefighter/EMS.
Paramedic students should include a copy of your State of Ohio EMT-B Card and American Heart CPR Card with their application.
We are processing applications for summer EMT.

EMT Program Policy on advanced placement, transfer of credits, and credits for experiential learning.
The program does not offer advanced placement. Students are required to start in EMT2330, follow the entire sequence, and complete all the requirements through EMT2371. Previous course attempts from internal or external sources have no bearing on course requirements.
