Workforce Training Courses Offered Through Tri-C Access Centers

In-person and online enrollment open for spring session beginning early February

Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C^®) is offering in-person and online Workforce Success courses this spring to expand community access to education and job training.

Part of the ongoing Tri-C Access Centers initiative, the courses are designed to prepare participants for workplace success while introducing them to the College and its resources. Courses are available on the following dates, times and locations:

Wednesdays from 5:30-7 p.m. | Feb. 1 – March 29 | Esperanza, Inc., (3104 W. 25th St.)

Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Feb. 1 – March 29
The first class meets in person at the Tri-C Manufacturing Technology Center (2415 Woodland Ave.) The remainder of the classes are a combination of online and in-person sessions.

Thursdays from 5:30-7 p.m. | Feb. 2 – March 30
The first class meets in person at the Tri-C Manufacturing Technology Center (2415 Woodland Ave.) The remainder of classes are a combination of online and in-person sessions.
 
Participants will:

• Earn college credit
• Identify and boost employable skills
• Get help with career planning, resume writing and job searching
• Improve study, time management and problem-solving skills
• Get connected to Tri-C resources

Instructional materials will be available online with instructor-led sessions at designated times during the week.

The Workforce Success courses are open to the community and presented in partnership with
Tri-C Access Center hosts. They are offered at no cost to participants through scholarship funding.

Tri-C Access Centers debuted in 2019 to bring education and job training to neighborhoods gripped by poverty. The sites open doors to opportunity by bringing the college experience into the community.

Partners include Esperanza Inc.; The MetroHealth System; Olivet Housing and Community Development Corp., an arm of Olivet Institutional Baptist Church; Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority; and University Settlement.
