Tri-C Westshore Holds Third Annual Bark Walk
Oct. 26 event to feature 1-mile hike, Halloween costume contest
Westside residents looking for paw-some fall fun can wag down to the third annual Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) Bark Walk on Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Westshore Campus in Westlake.
Last year, about 100 dogs and their humans celebrated their love of all things fall and pups.
Attendees can join a 1-mile guided walk around the Westshore Campus' natural preserve. They can also sit for a caricature of themselves and their dogs, enter themselves and a furry friend in the Halloween costume contest to win prizes, and enjoy photo ops and snacks.
The College is eager to host this event for the third time.
"The Bark Walk has been such a blast, so we couldn't wait to start planning this year," said Westshore Campus President Scott Latiolais, Ed.D. "People came up with some hilarious and creative costumes last year. It's great to open Westshore's doors to the community for events like this."
Participants can register now on Eventbrite. There is no cost to attend. The event is sponsored by Roberts and Wendt Animal Hospital.
For more information, email Nikki Matala, community relations liaison at the Westshore Campus.
