Tri-C JazzFest Seeks Volunteers for Festival Weekend
Applications accepted online through April 28
Help Cleveland’s hottest music festival hit all the right notes by volunteering this summer during the 44th annual Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland, presented by KeyBank.
Applications can be submitted online at tri-c.edu/jazzfest/get-involved through April 28. The online form asks for basic information to align the skills of the individual with the tasks at hand.
Volunteer responsibilities include distributing materials, working backstage and assisting with guest artists. Training may be required for some positions. All
All volunteers — new and returning — must complete the application.
“Volunteers are an important part of our festival,” said Terri Pontremoli, director of Tri-C JazzFest. “We’re looking forward to seeing new and familiar faces and supporting the music we all love so much.”
Tri-C JazzFest takes place June 22-24 at Playhouse Square. The three-day festival includes eight indoor concerts inside Playhouse Square’s historic venues, 14 free outdoor shows, plus vendors and food.
The 2023 lineup includes five-time Grammy winner Angélique Kidjo, 2023 Grammy winner Samara Joy, Cleveland Arts Prize recipient Dominick Farinacci, JazzFest Artist-in-Residence Braxton Cook and jazz icon Herbie Hancock. Visit tri-cjazzfest.com for the full lineup and schedule of shows.
Festival passes — which offer VIP seating to all ticketed concerts and other perks — are now on sale for $250 each at tri-c.edu/festivalpass.
Single tickets go on sale April 3 through the Playhouse Square Box Office at 216-241-6000 or playhousesquare.org.
Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland is made possible by KeyBank, the George Gund Foundation, the Ohio Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts, the William M. Weiss Foundation, Strassman Insurance Services Inc. and a growing list of donors and vendors.
