Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland Returns to Playhouse Square in 2022
43rd annual festival comes home June 23-25
Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) has announced that Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland, presented by KeyBank, will return to Playhouse Square's historic theatres for its 43rd annual festival June 23-25.
"This is like a homecoming," said festival director Terri Pontremoli. "We're grateful to be working with our partners at Playhouse Square and looking forward to firing up Euclid Avenue again with music, food and dancing. Summer in downtown Cleveland officially begins with JazzFest."
Staying true to its mission, the festival's lineup — to be announced in March — promises to bring world-class jazz artists to the city. Festival passes, which offer discounts, VIP seating and other perks, will go on sale the same day.
Individual concert tickets will go on sale through the Playhouse Square box office in April.
Though Tri-C JazzFest traditionally takes place at Playhouse Square each summer, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the festival to go virtual in 2020 and move to Cain Park in September 2021 for a safer experience.
Over the past four decades, the festival has become a cherished tradition for tens of thousands of music lovers. DownBeat Magazine describes JazzFest as offering "the type of diverse, top-tier talent typically found at a much larger festival, along with some adventurous programming spiced with compelling international flavors."

Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland is made possible by Cuyahoga Community College, KeyBank, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Ohio Arts Council, The George Gund Foundation and a growing list of donors and vendors.
