Tri-C Famous: Jennifer McCall
#TriCFamous is a bimonthly feature that introduces readers to the people who make the College work while providing a sneak peek into their lives off campus.
Jennifer McCall joined Tri-C's Corporate College® team in 2019 as contract training coordinator, supporting the delivery and development of training for organizations and individuals. She was recently tapped to serve as co-chair for the College's 2023 Women's Summit. Outside of Tri-C, she serves as a business coach for The School Days Foundation's Next Up Boss youth entrepreneurship program. Learn more about Jennifer in this week's Tri-C Famous!
1. If you had a late-night talk show, who would be your first guest?
Environmental science enthusiast, forager and Ohio native Alexis Nikole. If a zombie apocalypse ever occurs, I want her on my survival crew. Find her on Instagram @blackforager — you'll want her on your team, too!
2. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would you pick?
"Pizza me, please!" I'd have a pepperoni and sausage pie from a local hole-in-the-wall. My only requirement would be that somebody's grandmother made the sauce.
3. What are you most proud of?
My resilience. Life is a series of peaks and valleys — as soon as you escalate to the top, a valley approaches with more lessons to teach. I'm learning to get comfortable with the valleys, because they inform and prepare me for my next peak.
