Metro Campus President Selected for 2023 Leadership Cleveland Cohort

Denise McCory among 65 local leaders chosen for 10-month program

Denise McCory, president of the Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C^®) Metropolitan Campus, is one of 65 individuals from various public, private and nonprofit organizations selected for Leadership Cleveland's Class of 2023.

Participants were selected using a competitive application process. The intensive 10-month program, which begins in September, challenges members to analyze and act on important community issues impacting the Greater Cleveland area.

Next spring, the cohort will travel to another city to learn lessons and processes that can be implemented by community and business leaders in Cleveland.

"It's an honor and privilege to be selected among such a diverse and inspiring group of leaders," McCory said. "Connected and committed leadership helps move our community forward by collectively addressing important issues such as equity, justice and education."

Additional organizations with cohort members include KeyBank, Medical Mutual of Ohio, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, PNC Bank and University Hospitals, among many others.
