Dual Admissions Program at Tri-C Highlighted on NBC News
Future Vikings program helps ease transfer pathways for students

NBC News and The Hechinger Report recently featured Future Vikings, a guaranteed dual admission partnership between Tri-C and Cleveland State University, as a best-practice example for making the transfer process as smooth as possible.

"This is a way to introduce Tri-C students to coursework at CSU," said Melissa Swafford, director of Tri-C's Transfer Centers. "The sooner they have that connection, the better."
Exposure to a four-year institution when starting classes at a two-year college "makes a huge difference" for students, Swafford said. "If they know where they’re going, they can see that end goal."
