COVID-19 Vaccines Available to Tri-C Students
Two-dose vaccines offered Sept. 28 and 29 at Tri-C campuses
Students at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) are encouraged to “get the shot” during a series of COVID-19 vaccination clinics in September. The vaccines, offered through a partnership with Care Alliance Health Center, are available on a walk-in basis.
Students receiving their first shot will have $10 added to their Stomp Card, valid for food and other purchases at Tri-C’s food service and bookstore sites. Upon receiving their second shot, participants will receive a special edition “Got the Shot” T-shirt. Individuals must be 18 or older to receive the vaccine. The schedule is as follows:
Sept. 28
- Eastern Campus: 10 a.m. – noon, Student Services building, room 1531 (next to pool room). Park in Lot R.
- Metropolitan Campus: 2-4 p.m., North Concourse. Park in Lot 4.
Sept. 29
- Western Campus: 10 a.m. – noon, Theatre lobby. Park in Lot C.
“We are constantly working to provide a safe and healthy environment for our entire College community,” said Tri-C President Alex Johnson. “This includes encouraging everyone who is eligible to get vaccinated. We are delighted to partner again with Care Alliance Health Center, making it easy for our students to get vaccinated on campus.”
There is no cost to receive a vaccine; however, a government-issued ID with name and address is required. Visit tri-c.edu/gettheshot for more information. Second doses will be scheduled when participants receive their first shot.
