Connecting Communities: Western Campus to Host Public Safety Community Event
More than 14 regional agencies to attend free event July 30
Law enforcement agencies from across Northeast Ohio will gather at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) to educate the community on what their agencies do and how they work together to serve the public.
The event, “Ohio Connecting Communities,” will take place Saturday, July 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tri-C’s Western Campus (11000 Pleasant Valley Road in Parma).
Ohio Connecting Communities is a statewide initiative that encourages collaboration and engagement among public safety agencies and the communities they serve in order to strengthen relationships.
Fourteen law enforcement agencies will be represented. Organized by the Office of Law Enforcement Recruitment, a Division of the Department of Public Safety, the family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Register online to attend.
Western Campus is the site of Tri-C's Key Bank Public Safety Training Center, a state-of-the-art facility that offers public safety career programs for students and professional training for public safety departments.
