Autumn Blaze Virtual 5K Kicks Off October 31

Proceeds from race benefit three nonprofit organizations

The Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C^®) Autumn Blaze 5K returned with an in-person race this fall. But there's virtual component available for those who didn't get the chance to run.

Competitors can walk or run in the Autumn Blaze Virtual 5K at their own pace, at a time and location of their choice between Oct. 31 and Nov. 7. Individuals can select a safe route in their neighborhood, through a park, on an off-road trail or even on a treadmill.

Registration is available online through Oct. 31. Cost is $20 for community members and Tri-C faculty and staff, and $10 for Tri-C students. Individuals who register by Oct. 31 receive a Tri-C Autumn Blaze 5K ballcap.

Proceeds from the one-of-a-kind race benefit Greater Cleveland Community Shares, United Negro College Fund and United Way of Greater Cleveland.
