A Top Workplace Again: Tri-C Receives 17th NorthCoast 99 Award
Award recognizes organizations with HR practices that drive results
Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) has once again been recognized as one of Northeast Ohio’s top places to work, winning its 17th NorthCoast 99 award. The award honors the 99 best workplaces for top talent.
Presented by ERC, these annual awards recognize companies with human resources practices that drive results, provide competitive and allow businesses to innovate and grow.
Applicants are evaluated based on policies and practices related to the attraction and retention of top performers, as well as data collected from employee surveys. The process offers a blueprint for possible workplace initiatives and validation for current organizational initiatives.
Ami Hollis, Tri-C’s interim vice president of human resources, said the latest NorthCoast 99 honor reflects the consistency and hard work of College employees.
"Our employees are truly amazing and work collaboratively every day to provide the highest level of service and support to our students throughout their Tri-C journey," she said. "Their commitment to the students, their colleagues and the College is unwavering. We are thrilled to once again be recognized as a top place to work."
More than 3,000 people work at Tri-C, making it one of the region’s largest employers.
"Year after year, the winners have developed innovative policies and offered exceptional benefits to attract, engage and retain talented workers," said ERC President Kelly Keefe. "We look forward to recognizing this year’s winners and sharing their success stories."
