Since they arrived in northeast Ohio, the Fowler Family has made a transformational impact on northeast Ohio. The Char and Chuck Fowler Family Foundation’s philanthropic efforts in health, especially funding research and care for young adults battling cancer; in providing vital community needs; in education and the arts enrich the lives of thousands. 

Both Char and Chuck share a lifelong passion for music and dance and were fortunate to experience firsthand how the arts enhance life.  It was their goal to knock down the barriers that prevented accessibility to everything that the arts can offer all people through the establishment of their family foundation. Thanks to their vision and the strength of the Foundation, both the Tri-C JazzFest and the college’s Creative Arts Academy have benefited from their generosity.
