Juanje Davis
Juanje Davis has achieved a lot through his academic and professional pursuits. He graduated cum laude from Brunswick High School in 2017 and went on to attend Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) in the fall of that year. While at Tri-C, he earned dean's list honors in March 2019 and graduated with an Associate of Arts and Sciences in business administration and management later that year.
Davis went on to attend Indiana Wesleyan University, where he earned his bachelor's and master's degrees, graduating magna cum laude and summa cum laude, respectively. He completed his master's program in October 2021 while serving in the U. S. Navy.
As an active member of the U.S. Navy, Davis has served as a benefits specialist and is currently serving as a supply and logistics officer. He was previously stationed at Naval Air Station Pensacola and continues to serve with honor and distinction.
Throughout his academic journey, Davis has received several scholarships from Reach Scholars, the NAACP, A Second Home for You, College Now Greater Cleveland and Together We Rise.
Davis describes his Tri-C experience as fascinating due to the opportunities and support from the staff and faculty. He believes his experience at Tri-C helped prepare him academically and professionally, providing him with the skills and resources necessary to excel in his future endeavors.
Davis is proud to have achieved success despite the challenges he has faced. He is a Family Fellowship Scholar through the nonprofit Together We Rise, which aims to transform how youths navigate the foster care system in America. He encourages future students to consider enrolling at Tri-C and to research the community impact Tri-C has on Northeast Ohio.
