Physical Agility Police Officer Testing

The Police Officer Physical Agility Program conducts three assessments for 56 different area law enforcement agencies:

Police Officer Standardized Physical Agility Exam	$60 fee
Written Cognitive Assessment	$60 fee
Pre-Screening Psychological Assessment	$60 fee

Police Officer Standardized Physical Agility Exam:
Cuyahoga Community College will issue a certificate of completion to candidates who successfully pass the Police Officer Standardized Physical Agility exam. It is the candidate’s responsibility to provide the agency or agencies he/she is testing for with a copy of their certificate of completion. The certificate will be valid for one year, unless otherwise stated by the agency the candidate is testing for.

It is suggested that candidates dress appropriately, as testing may take place outdoors - weather permitting. It is recommended that candidates wear athletic shoes with good traction.

Written Cognitive Assessment:

This Assessment is provided for participating law enforcement departments. The assessment battery has been created by independent experts, validated by scientific research and will be administered impartially and fairly.

Pre-Screening Psychological Assessment:

Must register and pay testing fee by the Wednesday prior to the test date. Police Officer Physical Agility Exam dates.
Must show photo ID to be permitted into the testing area.
Must complete candidate packet provided day of testing.
It is highly recommended that candidates consult with their personal physician before taking the physical agility exam.

Registration Deadline: 5:00p.m., the Wednesday prior to the test date. Applicants will not be sent notifications/confirmations.

To Register by Mail:
Complete the registration form enclosed. Make your check payable to Cuyahoga Community College and mail to Cuyahoga Community College, ATTN: Carrie Havens 3409 Woodland Ave. Ste. 152, Cleveland, OH 44115

To Register in Person:
Stop by the Public Safety Institute Office at the Metro Campus of Cuyahoga Community College.

To Register by FAX:
Payment must be by credit card . Our fax number is 216-987-3101

To Register by Phone:

Registration Deadline:
5 p.m., the Wednesday prior to the test date.

Refund Policy:
Participants will receive a full refund if cancelled by the Wednesday prior to the start date, no refunds thereafter.

Exit I-71 at Bagley Road and go East. Exit I-77 at Pleasant Valley Road and go West. Exit The Ohio Turnpike at Exit 10 to I-71 North. The Campus is located at the corner of Pleasant Valley and York Roads, 11000 Pleasant Valley Rd., Parma, OH.
