The Physician Assistant program at Tri-C leads to a Post-Degree Professional Certificate in Physician Assistant Studies and through a partnership with Cleveland State University, students also simultaneously earn a Master of Science in Health Sciences degree with a concentration in Physician Assistant Science.

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT NATIONAL CERTIFICATION EXAM (PANCE):
To attain the PA-C designation, you must pass the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE). PANCE is a computerized, multiple-choice test that comprises 360 questions that assess basic medical and surgical knowledge. In order to take the PANCE, you must graduate from a program accredited by the ARC-PA as a Physician Assistant Program or a Surgeon Assistant Program.
