Career & Job Outlook 
A growing public awareness of the impact of sleep disorders has created many opportunities for the polysomnographic technologist.

In fact,there are more than 1,000 sleep laboratories throughout the country.

According to a recent survey, the job outlook in Polysomnography for trained personnel is projected to grow locally and nationally. The average salary for non-registered polysomnographic technologists in the Cleveland area ranges from $16 to $21/hour ($36,000), while registered polysomnographic technologists average $18 to $29/hour ($58,000).
