Institutional Scholarships 

Academic Excellence Scholarship
The Academic Excellence Scholarship is awarded to new high school graduates from Cuyahoga County and neighboring counties each year. The scholarship provides awards up to $1,750 annually to be  used for tuition and fees, for first two, consecutive years of study at Tri-C. Students must have a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 or higher scale and demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership, and service. 

Graduates of the Class of 2015 may begin applying in September 2014. Candidates for the Academic Excellence Scholarship should submit a scholarship application by March 20, 2015 and complete the 2015-2016  Free Application for Federal Student Aid after January 1, 2015 to be considered for all eligible federal financial aid upon receiving this scholarship. 

Athletic Scholarship: 
Athletic talent awards are available in all of the sports. Please contact the Student Life & Athletics Office for more information or visit Student Life & Athletics website.

Honors Program Scholarship
The Tri-C Honors Program offers scholarships to members in good standing. The specific criteria and the amount of the awards may vary from one semester to another so be sure to check the information provided on the specific Honors Scholarship Application form by visiting the Honors Program website.

Additionally, Tri-C is pleased to offer the Honors Program Fellowship to new entering freshman who have demonstrated high academic achievement. This is a two-year scholarship and program provides fellows with up to $4,250 per acvademic year to cover the cost of tuition and books. Student interested in applying for this scholarship can obtain more information on the Honors Program website.

Journalism Scholarship

This scholarship is provided to students participating in the yearbook or campus newspaper.  Please contact the Student Newspaper Office of your campus if you are interested in joining the staff or visit Student Life & Athletics website.

Student Senate Scholarship:

This scholarship is awarded to students that participate in the Student Senate as President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and the Board Scholar.  Please contact Student Life & Athletics if you want more information about the Student Senate or visit Student Life and Athletics.

TRIO - Access Scholarship
This scholarship is for students through the EOP programs.  Please contact the Access Office of your campus or visit Access Office.
