Lambda GSA (Gender-Sexuality Alliance) strives to educate others and ourselves on gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and straight ally issues and to work with other campus groups towards eliminating intolerance and prejudice. Our goal is to create an accepting environment in our school & community and to be a safe place where everyone can feel comfortable and supported. We encourage informal activities to foster healthy social interactions, bonding and understanding within our group and the greater community.

There have been many interpretations of the lambda symbol over time, and we agree with both the ancient Greek Spartans who believed the lambda meant unity and the Romans who considered it the light of knowledge shed into the darkness of ignorance.
