Cuyahoga Community College’s Massage Therapy Student Clinic is an educational facility where students provide massages - at a low cost - under the supervision of licensed massage therapists.
The Clinic is an integral part of the Massage Therapy Curriculum. The general public and Tri-C staff, faculty, and students are invited to participate the students' classroom learning experience.
There are 2 types of massage therapy clinics offered at different times of the year:
GENERAL MASSAGE CLINIC
When: January through early August – in the spring and summer semesters
Type of Massage: Clients receive a 45-minute, full-body, general massage.
Prices: $25 for the general public and $20 for Seniors (60 years and older) and Tri-C staff, faculty and students enrolled in credit courses
ADVANCED MASSAGE THERAPY CLINIC
When: September to December – in the fall semester
Type of Massage: Clients schedule a 1-1/2 hour advanced massage appointment which includes a pre- and a post-assessment, plus a 1-hour massage. Please note: There are a limited number of appointments available for the advanced clinic. Only clients with specific health concerns that are treatable by advanced massage techniques taught in the clinic will be eligible for and advanced massage on a first-come, first-served basis.
Prices: $30 for the general public and $25 for Seniors (60 years and older) and Tri-C staff, faculty and students enrolled in credit courses
Important Information for both student massage therapy clinics:
Payment can only be made with your Massage Therapy Clinic Card or your My Tri-C card.
