Cuyahoga Community College Summer Camps for children and teenagers are designed to attract talented, smart, enthusiastic youth who are eager to learn about a wide variety of things from cutting-edge technology to culinary creations. Offerings include science, culinary, photography and dance in a safe and healthy environment.

Create Your Own Raspberry Pi, Grades 8 & up
Build a cutting-edge, credit-card sized portable computer system. Learn to assemble, boot up and take home a Raspberry Pi computer. Learn the basics behind the Python programming language and create a media center.
When: July 8-12, 9am-4pm

Robotics 101, Grades 8 & up
Build and program your very own take home Arduino 2WD Rover Robot that can roam around, sense its environment and perform a wide variety of tasks. Opportunity to participate in a robotics skills challenge.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), Grades 5-8
This is not your average model airplane. Build a glider that will rocket 60 to 70 feet into the air and soar over long distances. Assemble a trebuchet (aka catapult) that stands 19" tall and launches objects up to 30 feet. The glider and trebuchet are yours to keep.

Dance (Kids In Motion®), Grades 5 & up
Is modeled after the successful National Dance Institute (NDI) in New York City that motivates students to achieve excellence through high energy dance instruction.
Kids in Motion ® uses dance as a springboard to help children develop excellence, discipline, and self-confidence while having fun! This program is awesome for boys and girls of all ages!

The Art of Paper and Book Making, Grades 5 & Up
Students will learn the ancient art of making and decorating paper. The finished product will be used to make their own personalized scrapbook to showcase their photos from the Photography Studio camp or their own photos from home.
