She Serves, She Deserves:  A Symposium on Women in the Military

FREE workshop and resource event for women veterans and women veterans support specialists. The event, She Serves – She Deserves, will also feature mental health experts who will discuss the trend of homelessness amongst female Veterans; service experiences of OIF/OEF female Veterans; general healthcare needs of our female Veterans versus their male counterparts; and will close with a panel comprised of female Veterans from various service periods. The focus of the event is to educate women veterans, as well as psychologists, psychiatrists, ER nurses and physicians, nurse practitioners, first responders, licensed counselors, social workers, physician assistants, chaplains, ministers, human resources professionals, employers, and community leaders who work with women veterans and their families.
