Explore your interests and find a program that puts you on the path to a bright future. Tri-C offers both credit and non-credit courses as well as certificate programs in most career fields.
More than 1,000 credit courses are offered each semester in more than 200 career and technical programs. Tri-C also grants short-term certificates, certificates of proficiency and post-degree professional certificates.
Tri-C's Workforce Training provides both non-credit and credit training for individuals and businesses to assist individuals with skills leading to employment. Tri-C's Corporate College provides professional development and corporate training opportunities.
Tri-C offers a variety of affordable and convenient community programs for both adults and youth. These programs are designed to promote individual development.
The Adult Workforce Diploma Program gives eligible Ohio adults the opportunity to earn a state-issued high school diploma while building skills for career advancement. Through a supportive and structured experience, learners work toward completing their education while gaining workforce readiness and career development opportunities.
Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the Adult Workforce Diploma Program, learners must be:
At least 18 years old
Officially withdrawn from high school
A resident of the state of Ohio
Requirements to Earn Your Adult Workforce Diploma
The Bridge Program is designed to provide learners with a guided pathway to success and prepare them for the next phases of the Adult Workforce Diploma Program.
During the six-week experience, learners will:
Become familiar with campus resources and support services available through Cuyahoga Community College
Develop academic and workplace skills that help them succeed on the ACT WorkKeys Assessment
Receive guidance and support through the program requirements and graduation milestones
Build confidence through structured learning and individualized support
Strengthen readiness for career and educational advancement

Learners demonstrate career readiness by completing the ACT WorkKeys Assessment.
To meet program requirements, learners must earn a total score of 12, including a minimum score of Level 4 in each of the following areas:

Graphic Literacy
Workplace Documents
This assessment measures essential workplace skills that employers value across many industries.
To complete the Adult Workforce Diploma Program, learners must complete two of the following three requirements:
OhioMeansJobs Readiness Seal Demonstrate professional and employability skills recognized by employers across Ohio.
250 Hours of Work-Based Learning Participate in qualifying employment, internship, apprenticeship, volunteer or career-connected experiences.
Industry-Recognized Credential Earn a credential that validates skills and knowledge aligned with workforce needs.
Upon completion of the program requirements, learners earn a state-issued high school diploma and leave with workforce experiences and skills designed to support continued education and career success.
