More than 1,000 credit courses are offered each semester in more than 200 career and technical programs. Tri-C also grants short-term certificates, certificates of proficiency and post-degree professional certificates.
Tri-C's Workforce Training provides both non-credit and credit training for individuals and businesses to assist individuals with skills leading to employment. Tri-C's Corporate College provides professional development and corporate training opportunities.

The Adult Diploma Program gives individuals 18 or older in Ohio the opportunity to earn a highly respected Ohio-issued high school diploma. By enrolling at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®), you can secure a high school diploma and a credential that will significantly enhance your employment prospects. To enroll in the Adult Diploma Program, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have not received a high school or GED diploma
Live in the state of Ohio

The Short-Term Certificate in Automotive Maintenance and General Service prepares students for entry-level positions in the auto service industry. Training is provided through a combination of classroom instruction and laboratory experience. Students earn enough Automotive credit in one semester to begin working in the field.
This in-demand career has employers eager to hire, and the short-term training gets you certified and career-ready. The Manufacturing Skill Standard Council (MSSC) credential system leading to a Certified Production Technician covers the four critical production functions, as defined by MSSC’s nationally validated skills standards, common to all sectors of manufacturing:

Each area is addressed with a separate assessment and score to help determine the knowledge to specific situations that can appear in the field.
The Tri-C Transportation Center is unique. Unlike many other truck driving schools, Tri-C offers small class sizes, which allow us to give more attention during training. Furthermore, all of our trucks have been completely redesigned to enhance student safety and learning as we ensure our students train in a safe and healthy environment.
Training consists of 160 hours of classroom and hands-on training. Training provides instruction on driver safety, transporting cargo safety, air brakes, combination vehicles, tank vehicles, and hazardous materials. Training includes pre-trip vehicle inspection, vehicle control, and on-road driving (required for skills testing).

This program equips graduates with entry-level skills in classical and advanced culinary technique and includes ServSafe Manager certification in food safety and sanitation. Primary career opportunities include line cook, grill or sauté cook, prep cook and pantry cook. The 16-credit program features extensive culinary kitchen instruction and labs delivered within a compressed timeline that starts in the fall.
The Certified Fiber Optic Technician program was developed in response to the state of Ohio’s Broadband and 5G Sector Partnership initiative, which aims to provide nearly 1 million Ohioans with access to high-speed internet infrastructure.

This program is your gateway to mastering stick, MIG, TIG and oxy-fuel techniques, setting you on the path to a rewarding career. Our comprehensive training equips you with fundamental skills and offers the potential to earn three nationally recognized certifications.
At the conclusion of the MIG, TIG, and stick welding classes, students submit a test piece (between 1F and 4G) for certification evaluation.
State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) play a critical role within the health care industry. As a member of the health care team, STNA’s are the frontline staff because they have the most direct contact with patients.
The Supply Chain, Logistics Technology and Warehouse Program at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) recognizes individuals who demonstrate mastery of the core competencies of material handling at the front line (supervision). This program assists logistics workers in finding higher wage jobs and helps employers ensure their workers are capable of increasing the company’s productivity and competitiveness.
The Supply Chain, Logistics Technology and Warehouse lab curriculum provides students the opportunity to learn in a practical application environment. During hands-on warehouse activities, students directly and safely simulate roles and responsibilities while using warehouse equipment and technology.
